Appropriate for just about everyone, Yin is a meditative style of yoga that emphasizes deliberate opening of the joints and spine to create space and flexibility. Each posture is held for a longer period of time to allow the body to naturally open. Props are often used to support the postures to create ease in the body.

Anyone who is new to yoga is very welcome – this is a great practice for both beginners and experienced yogis as it offers something different for everyone and is very accessible and relaxing.

Benefits of a regular Yin yoga practice

Tips for practising Yin yoga

  • Find your appropriate edgeMove slowly and gently into the pose. Don’t go straight to your “maximum” in the pose and never stretch so far as to cause pain.
  • Stillness: Try to remain still, without fidgeting or shifting position too much.

I Yin Yoga kommer du ind i stillingerne med afslappede muskler hvor kroppens bindevæv giver dig mulighed for at opnå mere smidighed, harmoni og frihed fra fysisk som psykisk stress.

Du er i stillingerne i 3-6 minutter – Dette har positiv effekt på dit bindevæv, sener, led og dine organer. Det giver mere plads til, at kroppens blod og væske kan cirkulere mere frit og derved styrke din egen healing.

Alle kan være med – lige meget dit kendskab til Yoga – og har du skader etc, er du meget velkommen. Vi tager hensyn til den enkelte.
